自1993年以来，D.C. 酒吧公益中心的倡导 & 正义的诊所 has helped improve the lives of more than 8,000 D.C. 居民. Volunteer attorneys will receive conflicts information for their potential client, followed by a detailed case file including an intake, 相关文档, 入门小贴士, 以及导师分配信息. After reviewing the case file and tips for remote representation, volunteers contact their client directly to set up an initial meeting and consult their mentor as needed.
The 公益性服务 Center offers a comprehensive support network and resources to ensure our volunteers provide high quality legal representation. 对于每种情况, we recruit an expert mentor who is available to guide volunteers on all substantive and procedural matters, as well as client management issues that arise during representation. 公益性服务 Center staff is also available to support and consult in the event a mentor is unavailable. 另外，Probono.net/dc, a free online resource available to all pro bono attorneys, includes comprehensive libraries of model pleadings and 培训 manuals, 视频及其他资料.
